Plank & Go ("we," "us," or "our") operates as a mobile flooring showroom serving the Salt Lake Valley and Utah County. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Utah law, including the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA).
We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to serve you, we do not sell your data, and we do not use your information for advertising.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our website.
Information you provide
When you book a consultation through our website, we collect the following:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your home address (so we can schedule your appointment in the correct service zone)
- Any notes or details you provide in the booking form
This information is used solely to schedule and confirm your in-home consultation. We may follow up with you about your appointment or, if you consent, send occasional updates about Plank & Go. You can opt out of any non-appointment communications at any time.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we collect standard analytics data including pages visited, time on page, general geographic region (not precise location), device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify you from it. We use this information to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate our website and booking system. Each is described below.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps to display our service area. Google Maps may collect location and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy .
Google Calendar
Our appointment scheduling system connects with Google Calendar to manage booking availability. When you schedule a consultation, appointment details are processed through Google's infrastructure in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy .
Supabase
Booking data submitted through our website is stored in Supabase, a cloud database platform. Your information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties beyond what is described in this policy. Supabase's infrastructure is SOC 2 compliant. We do not sell your personal information to any of these third parties or to anyone else.
Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA)
If you are a Utah resident, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act may grant you certain rights with respect to your personal data. These include:
- The right to know what personal data we have collected about you
- The right to request deletion of your personal data
- The right to opt out of the sale of your personal data (we do not sell personal data)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Data retention and security
We retain booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable law. If you would like your information deleted, contact us and we will do so promptly.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
