Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plank & Go website (plankandgo.com) and any services provided by Plank & Go, including in-home flooring consultations, product quotes, and installation services. By using our website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms.
Plank & Go is a Utah-licensed contractor (#12185028-5501) operating as a mobile flooring showroom in the Salt Lake Valley and Utah County.
Our services
Plank & Go provides mobile flooring consultations, in which a flooring consultant visits your home within our service area — the Salt Lake Valley and Utah County — and presents a curated selection of hardwood, LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank), and laminate flooring samples. Following your consultation, we provide installation services through our licensed installation team.
In-home consultations are free of charge. There is no trip fee and no obligation to purchase. Services are available to residential customers within our defined service zone. We reserve the right to decline service requests that fall outside our service area or that we are otherwise unable to fulfill.
Pricing and quotes
Any pricing shown on our website — including per-square-foot estimates for installation — represents general ranges only and does not constitute a binding offer or guarantee of final cost. All quoted prices are estimates.
Final pricing is determined after an in-home consultation and depends on:
- Actual measured square footage of the rooms to be floored
- The specific flooring product selected
- Subfloor conditions observed at the time of consultation
- Scope of any additional work (transitions, stair work, removal of existing flooring)
A written, itemized quote will be provided at the end of your in-home consultation. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the consultation. After 30 days, material pricing may change and quotes may be revised.
Installation requires a deposit to hold your scheduled date. The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation. Payment terms are outlined in your written quote.
Appointments and cancellations
By booking an appointment, you agree to be present at your home during the scheduled time. Plank & Go will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled window. Occasionally, scheduling may be affected by factors outside our control.
You may reschedule or cancel your consultation at any time at no cost. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible so we can offer the time slot to another customer. There are no cancellation fees for consultations.
For installation cancellations after a deposit has been placed, deposit refund terms are specified in your written agreement at the time of booking the installation date.
Installation
All installations are performed by our licensed Utah contractor (#12185028-5501). Plank & Go provides a 1-year labor warranty on all installation work. If a defect in workmanship is identified within one year of installation, we will return to assess and correct the issue at no additional charge.
Flooring products carry manufacturer warranties that vary by product. Warranty details for your selected product will be provided at the time of your consultation. Manufacturer warranties are the responsibility of the product manufacturer and are subject to manufacturer terms.
The labor warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, flooding, excessive moisture, subfloor issues not identified at the time of installation, or acts outside of Plank & Go's control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plank & Go's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Plank & Go for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
Plank & Go shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property not directly caused by our installation work, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Utah law.
Website use
You may use the Plank & Go website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access areas of the site that are not intended for public access.
Content on this website — including text, photographs, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to Plank & Go and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all information is error-free. Pricing, service area, and product availability are subject to change.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
